A free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen, which first appeared in the Nexon EV Max Dark version earlier this year, is front and centre. A 10.25-inch full-digital instrument cluster with customizability to show navigation is also included in the Nexon makeover. A 360-degree camera, linked car technology, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and more are all included in the top-spec Nexon facelift. Six airbags are standard on the Nexon facelift, plus an ESC, three-point seat belts on each seat, ISOFIX, and urgent and breakdown call support.

Tata Nexon facelift exterior design

With sequential LED daytime running light (DRL) signatures on top and headlights at the bottom, the Nexon facelift’s headlamps are separated. While the headlights are housed in a trapezoidal housing, the DRLs are joined by a thin top grille that also contains the Tata emblem. A larger grille with a thick plastic bar running across it and a fake skid plate is located on the lower half of the bumper.

The new highlight line, although is not increased in a different hue, and the new alloy wheels are the most significant changes to the profile. The reverse light has been repositioned to the bumper, and the Nexon includes a full-width LED light bar at the back with the Tata Motors logo in the centre. The bumper, which now has a false skid plate, also stores the number plate. The Nexon facelift has exactly the same 208mm of ground clearance as the initial model.

Finally Revealed Nexon Facelift 2023

Tata Nexon facelift engine and variants

The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Nexon facelift will continue offering 120 hp and 170 pound-feet of torque. Depending upon the model, four different gears are now available: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automated (with paddle shifters). On the other side, the 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT is still available with the 115hp, 160Nm, 1.5-liter diesel.

As we’ve previously reported, Tata Motors has abandoned the ‘X’-based nomenclature that included XE, XM, XM+, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux in favour of a Punch-inspired name structure. Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure, Pure (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless (S), and Fearless+ (S) trims are the new trim designations for the Nexon makeover. While (S) designates trims with a sunroof, the ‘+’ indicates optional packages that come together with a number of extras.
